Topic: General Concepts of Laser in Burn Scar Treatment-patients’ Experiences
Abstract:
In recent years, due to the advance of both ablative and no-ablative laser, they’ re widely used in burn
scar treatment.
In 2016-2017, because of Formosa Fun-coast explosion, which happened in 2015, lots of patients suffered
from major burn and following laser treatments are necessary.
Now we used 8 patients, from both photos and sonography, to set our guideline for burn scar treatment
with both ablative and no-ablative lasers. To take others’ experience into account, we hope these
concepts can assist others to intervene burn scar by sonography and laser as early as possible, which
relieve patients from burn scar syndromes earlier.
