Topic: Advanced Deep-plane Facelift
Abstract:
There have been many techniques and concepts described to address the aging face, deep- plane facelift
involves elevation of the SMAS-platysma, subcutaneous fat, overlying skin as a unified flap. The thicker
compound flap of skin, fat, and muscle retains the SMAS-cutaneous relationship, ensuring good
vascularity even under strong tension. The weak points are the skin and deep tissues moves in only one
direction, the effect in the anterior face may be limited because SMAS layer attenuates in the anterior
midface, The thinning of the SMAS courses toward the zygomaticus major muscle.
I would like to introduce a deep-plane technique that can be advanced to included extended temporal
incision for preventing of buching lateral midface, and to pullof the anterior midface . next, Pull several
threads and twist them to disperse the force for lifting malar fat pad, lower anterior face effectively.
